SHOOT for GOOD is a Belgian NGO with 2 concentric goals:

Support and promote the work of photographers

Financially support local NGO's with its benefits

Our NGO was created in 2009 by 4 young photography enthusiasts in Brussels.

SHOOT for GOOD organizes photo exhibitions on a regular basis, gathering pictures from amateurs, passionates and professionals around a common theme.

The pictures are printed in an utter professional quality and are sold in limited edition. All the profit is then used to subsidise pre-defined projects organized by NGO’s that SHOOT for GOOD trusts.

The NGO’s supported in the last few years include:

Thirumalai Charity Trust, India, involved in rural development (women’s rights, health, agriculture, etc).

Espace Masolo, Democratic Republic of Congo, taking care of reinserting child soldiers through the arts.

-   Article 27, Belgium, giving access to cultural events to low-income persons.

At first the photographers pool was mainly composed of amateurs but SHOOT for GOOD is now aiming at inviting professional photographers to participate to their exhibitions. SHOOT for GOOD’s motto is “donate a picture”, encouraging professionals to contribute to the action by donating a picture or their own collection and authorizing us to sell it in their name.
